Our multi-generational Olive Eggers are sold as straight run. We use a few different crosses of breeds including Ameraucana, BBS Marans, Cream Legbar, Silverudds Blue, and Welsummers. These chicks will lay a variety of olive and mossy tones, most will be speckled and some should even lay a heavy bloom. Most of our olive eggers are crossed back to a Blue Copper Marans or Welsummer to create that dark mossy/chocolate tone. Please remember that with back crossing, there is always a 50/50 chance that once a pullet starts laying, the egg could be brown.
