Speckled eggs are easily one of my favorites—each one is completely unique. Some are lightly freckled, others are boldly splotched, and no two ever look exactly the same. This makes every dozen a beautiful surprise.
In this hatching dozen, you’ll receive a variety of speckled eggs that could be from our Olive Eggers, Marans, Silverudd’s Blue, or Welsummers. These breeds are known for producing eggs with character and charm, adding extra flair to both your incubator and future egg basket.
As with all things genetics, speckling can vary. While the likelihood of offspring laying speckled eggs is high, some hens may lay speckled eggs consistently, while others may lay fewer or none at all. Color, pattern, and frequency of speckling cannot be guaranteed.
If you love natural variation and eggs with personality, this speckled dozen is a wonderful choice.
