My hens are covered by a blue and splash rooster. 80% of my flock is tested homozygous! Originating lines include Feathered Feet Farm, Into the Meadows, Moss & Meadows, & Tim Oliver.
Silverudds Blue eggs aren’t always speckled. A lot of times I find the blooms are hiding them. Some days the eggs are more speckled than others and sometimes a hen will lay a completely plain egg. But my entire SB flock has speckled genes and all of the shades of blue and green are still beautiful.
